The proposed General Use Permit is an opportunity for Stanford and its neighbors to plan for a future of education, discovery and community. Show your support for Stanford by saying “I’m in." Once you’re in, you’ll start to receive campaign updates and get opportunities to publicly show your support.

The proposed 2018 General Use Permit guides campus land use for the next 20 years, providing a responsible framework to plan for the future. It authorizes the development of additional academic spaces and housing on campus and provides flexibility for Stanford’s campus to evolve as needs change. Stanford's proposed permit also proactively addresses issues of importance to the university and our neighbors, including affordable housing, sustainability, and traffic.
